A new way to cover your books

I have a treat for my fellow bookworms today. I found a new way to cover our precious books. I don’t know how many of you have discovered this idea but hopefully, I’ll be the first one to tell you. Several months ago, I said goodbye to old yet dependable plastic cover and said hello to  shower  glass sticker to cover my books. You read it right! Shower glass sticker. A friend told me about it and when I tried it, I fell in love with it.
This is the shower glass sticker that you can buy at Ace Hardware for Php 95.00. It can cover a lot of books. I don't know how many exactly but I've covered like more than 20 paperbacks and there's still a more lot left.

Compared to plastic cover, it is easier to use shower glass sticker because you don't need to use scotch tape.

Here's how to cover your book with shower glass sticker

1.  Cut the sticker according to the size of your books with 2 inches allowance from every direction.

2. Carefully stick some part of it on your book, be careful not to stick everything together at once. Also, you have to make sure you really want to cover your book with it because it can't be undone.

3. Use both of your hands or a ruler to roll the sticker until everything is covered. It's almost similar on how you cover your books using plastic. You just have to be extra careful because one wrong move and the cover of your book might be ruined.
Well, that's not both hands but I have to use my other hand to take a picture. :P

The best thing about this book cover is that you can choose different designs. It adds a little glamour to your book cover. Sometimes the sticker cover is barely visible. It also protects your book longer than plastic cover.

Before I go, I would like to thank my new blogger friend Wrey from fasHiomoTo- The Fusion of Fashion and Motorcycles   for giving me my first blog recognition for Fun and Fabulous. Thanks Wrey!

  2. Kukulitin sana kita about this one but since you already divulge the information makakaligtas ka this time. Hehehe. This is great. Halos majority ng books ko walang cover kasi time consuming tapos mag-gugupit pa ng scotch tape.

Share more great finds and fabulous tips.

  7. Dear, help pls. It seems that Ace does not sell their products online and I don't see that product in their website, or maybe I just don't know how to search for it. Do you have any idea where I can buy it online?
